Irish Wish, a new romantic comedy, will debut on Netflix on Friday, March 15, so pack your bags and get ready for a trip to the Emerald Isle! Produced by Michael Damian, actor of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, and directed by his wife, Janeen Damian, this movie marks their second collaboration with Lindsay Lohan. In this film, Lohan portrays Maddie, a reluctant bridesmaid at her best friend’s Irish wedding. The problem is that Maddie adores the groom, and when she wishes for true love, she enters a parallel universe where she is engaged to be married! Exercise caution when making wishes!

Fans of Y&R will hear Damian in Irish Wish even if they won’t actually see him on screen! He not only produced the movie but also wrote a song for the soundtrack! “It is named ‘Wild Irish Heart,'” the performer, composer, producer, director, and actor informed Soaps In Depth. “My brothers and I wrote this song a while ago, and then all of a sudden, we realized that we were filming an Irish Wish movie.'” It happened by pure coincidence.

Damian went on, “I haven’t really done a track like this before.” There’s Irish violin and live acoustics in it. I had some amazing Irish people sing and perform with me on it. A scenario that takes place in a bar named Scruffy Murphys plays throughout the entire scene and even appears in the scene that comes after.

For Damian, working on Irish Wish alongside his wife wasn’t the only familial link during the whole filming process in Ireland. He said, “Being Italian and Irish, it was amazing to make a movie in my home country. Actually, a lot of the logistical work that we had to complete in order to produce this movie was greatly assisted by my cousin, the chief of the County Mayo. since it’s a really large production.

Ireland was a charming place to spend the summer, even though filming the movie was a laborious task! “It was fantastic,” exclaimed Damian. “People were fantastic. The places were crazy. You have to acclimate your eyes to the intense green. “Oh yeah, well, they turn up the color,” they say. No, the color had to be declined! They said, “I think they’re going to think this is fake,” and I could see why the shots were so green.

Damian relished the chance to collaborate closely with his spouse once more. “Janine is incredible,” he exclaimed. “She is intelligent. Such a gift. We always strive to inspire one another to always be at our best, produce something noteworthy, and just generally attempt to always stay creative and maintain our inspirational flow.
