What Has Perri Done In Home And Away?

Today is Home and Away’s 2024 series finale on Channel 5, and after yesterday’s drama in which longtime Summer Bay resident Alf passed out from cardiac problems, the drama only becomes more intense today.

Claudia gives Justin the address to a secluded cottage in the wilderness and makes an odd request as he drives her home: she needs to stop by somewhere for work. Though perplexed, Justin gives in. He tries to persuade them to go, but Claudia intervenes and gives him a kiss. Right away, Justin stops her and asks, “What is this?”

Astonished by Claudia’s approaches, Justin exits the cabin quickly. Claudia pursues him in an attempt to win his sympathy. She informs him that her husband is evicting her, and it appears that Justin is not content with his wife; otherwise, why is he acting so surreptitiously? Retorting that nothing of the kind will ever occur between them, Justin pushes back. When he reaches for his car keys to go, he discovers they are gone: Claudia has them, and she throws them into the bush!

Until the sun sets, Justin searches in vain for his keys. Knowing full well that Leah is waiting for him at home to celebrate their engagement anniversary, he panics and begins attempting to hotwire his automobile. Justin falls down in the back seat of his car, feeling like a failure.

Alf is stabilized by the medical team, but Marilyn is incensed since she witnessed Bree, a doctor, doing nothing at all as a critically ill patient worsened right in front of her. Later, when Levi tries to discuss what happened with Bree, she appears preoccupied. What fate has in store for her?

Things aren’t over, but Perri is still upset by the run-in with his father. When he gets home, his AVO application is pinned to the cutting board, which has a knife inserted into it like a stake on the kitchen counter. Carl is waiting for him when he turns. Carl is stronger and faster than Perri, who is running for his life. Pushing his face into the water, he pulls his son out to the backyard pool.

When Tane gets home at night, the door is ajar. When he dashes to the rear, he discovers a body floating in the pool and Perri’s taiaha on the grass. Before he can imagine the worst, he turns to see a traumatized Perri sitting against the wall. Tane is stunned when all he says is, “I killed my dad.” Perri, what have you done?
