Teddy Mitchell seems to be doing the most to ensure Sonia Fowler’s innocence, even if the walls are beginning to close in on Reiss Colwell as the murderous accountant returns to Walford.
There will be fireworks and bombshells delivered when Bonfire Night arrives in Walford, which will infuriate certain EastEnders residents.
The week begins when Johnny Freeman’s character Reiss Colwell returns to Walford and meets up with a combative Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer).
When Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) discloses that his private investigator has made progress in establishing Sonia’s (Natalie Cassidy) innocence while she is still imprisoned for the murder of Debbie Colwell (Jenny Meier), the killer’s return takes a turn for the worst.

Bianca insists on seeing the CCTV video when Teddy verifies that his friend has obtained it for the warehouse close to Debbie’s assisted living facility. Teddy is enraged, however, when Reiss outsmarts her and cunningly takes the flash drive.
Bianca immediately demands answers after he informs her about Reiss’ most recent shady action, putting Reiss in a panic. Reiss encounters Martin Fowler (James Bye) when he eventually leaves the home, but the accountant continues to tell falsehoods.
In a surprising change of events, Teddy gives Bianca another copy of the video and gives her a new home. Will Reiss get to Bianca’s house in time for her to view the tape?
Sparks rise between Reiss and Bianca as firework evenings approach, but will he be revealed as Debbie’s murderer?
Kat Slater struggles

Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall), a belligerent kid, left his mother Kat (Jessie Wallace) devastated after being forced to move out and live with Zack Hudson (James Farrar).
Kat keeps blanking Stacey (Lacey Turner) before their next social services appointment, and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) attempts to persuade them to make a ceasefire.
Could his clever scheme, however, result in a romantic relationship with his ex-wife? Bobby Brazier’s character Freddie Slater notices the spark between the ex-spouses right away.
Tommy’s coldness toward Kat at the social services meeting breaks her heart, and she worries that they won’t ever be able to bring their kid home after he was discovered abusing his brothers. The social worker says they can start working on getting Tommy back home, nevertheless.
Alfie even gets through to their kid as the session ends on a good one, telling the social worker that they really want Tommy back for Christmas.
Thankful Kat surprises Alfie with a kiss back at the apartment. Is this a major blunder or the beginning of a romance?
Jack Branning is in trouble

Next week, Jack Branning will be in trouble with the cops after he collides with a stolen vehicle. As viewers of the BBC soap opera are aware, Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) is blackmailing Jack (Scott Maslen) after he was seen striking him on camera.
When Harry tells the copper that he has a job for him, Jack angrily declines, turning the screw on the copper. However, Harry uses the damning film to remind him that he would ruin Jack’s job and throw him in jail if he doesn’t retrieve a stolen engine as directed.
Jack completes the task to protect his own reputation, and Harry snaps pictures of him doing it. Back in the Square, Jack damages the stolen motor when he crashes into Reiss’ car while distracted by a text message from Harry. What will Harry do next, though?
