The Morgan house is facing its third consecutive cliffhanger as Home and Away comes to an end this year, with Leah (Ada Nicodemou) and/or Justin (James Stewart) being detained against their will.
Leah was entangled in the drama surrounding Heather (Sofia Nolan) and Marilyn (Emily Symons) around this time in 2022, while Justin and Leah were kidnapped by Vita Nova members and abandoned to perish in an abandoned warehouse last year.
We are now of the opinion that Justin and Leah ought to spend the entire month of November cooped up in a panic room.
This time, the situation isn’t nearly as dire, but Claudia’s (Rachael Carpani) attempts to finally get her hands on Justin could jeopardize their six-month marriage!
In recent weeks, Justin has been covertly driving Claudia after she was involved in an automobile accident due to the carelessness of her nephew Theo (Matt Evans) at the garage.
Although Theo has already caught Justin after he saw Claudia exiting his vehicle, Leah will remain in the dark when she chooses to commemorate the anniversary of Justin’s engagement to him next week, even though it also happens to be the anniversary of his near-death encounter at the hands of the cult.
Marilyn misunderstands when she hears Justin talking to Claudia on the phone, thinking that he is also planning something special for Leah. He hides his identity by affirming that she is right.
Marilyn then brings them together to warn Leah and Justin that their surprises might conflict.
Leah is thrilled with the idea, but Justin is caught off guard. When Leah says she was going to make them dinner at home, Justin says he was going to take them to Salt.
Given that they always travel to Salt (and your ideas to stay at home are more creative, how, Leah?) Leah is a little let down.but quickly comes to believe there’s more to it.
Leah is perplexed when Xander (Luke Van Os) responds that no such booking has been made when she later tries to get information from him regarding their reservation.
Later, when Leah discovers that Theo is aware of Justin’s deception, he is compelled to reveal the truth about Justin’s activities with Claudia. Leah is furious that her husband has been lying about it for weeks. After she is unable to reach Justin or Claudia, she speaks with Eric, Claudia’s husband, who oddly requests to meet with her in person.
Claudia’s arm cast has finally been taken off, but she says it will take a few weeks for it to heal completely enough for her to drive. She asks Justin to take her to a distant cabin owned by one of her clients so she can inspect it, even though he is expected to take her home.
Justin is relieved that their arrangement is coming to an end, but Claudia is sad that things will soon be going back to normal.
That normalcy, it turns out, might not be exactly what she says. Eric reveals that Claudia and Justin are having an affair as he shows up at the diner to meet Leah and Theo! Eric is so certain that he has expelled Claudia, stating that he is aware of the warning signs and that she has previously acted in this manner.
It’s evident that Claudia is attempting to spend as much time with Justin as she can back at the cabin.
She has already finished all the jobs with Justin’s assistance, so Justin is prepared for them to leave. Justin assists her as she flinches in agony while putting on her coat.
However, Claudia seizes the chance to kiss him!
Justin exclaims, “What’s going on?” and draws away, stunned. Claudia says she thinks their relationship has altered and that she can tell Justin is not happy with Leah since he is lying to her about their arrangement. She doesn’t see anything wrong with things going further now that Eric has thrown her out.
After correcting Claudia and stating that they will never be together, Justin storms off.
Justin is anxious to get home when Claudia finishes up inside because he can’t find a phone service, but Claudia wants to discuss things out instead.
When Claudia finally confesses to possessing his car keys, Justin throws them away after realizing they are gone.
Justin can’t seem to find the keys, even though they are obviously only a few feet away, and he keeps looking as night falls.
Claudia apologizes and demands that he at least return inside, but Justin won’t accompany her anywhere.
Justin feels compelled to spend the night on the back seat after attempting and failing to hotwire his car.
After Justin doesn’t show up for their special evening, a dissatisfied Leah sits by herself at home.
She leaves Justin a voicemail, stating that he needs to provide a convincing answer, since Eric’s accusations continue to echo in her mind. or they’re finished!
In another scene, Perri (Cantona Stewart) is terrified since last week, his father Carl (Matthew Holmes) contacted her once more, even though he had an AVO that prevented him from doing so.
Carl has made it obvious that he expects his son to follow the rules and commit more crimes for him after being found not guilty in court of a lifetime of physical abuse against Perri; otherwise, Tane (Ethan Browne) will be in risk.
Perri discovers that Carl is aware of his residence when he gets home the following week and discovers the AVO skewered to the kitchen counter with a big knife. Carl then emerges behind Perri, frightening him.
Carl reveals that he has Perri’s phone while Perri tries to flee and hides in the back garden, threatening to contact the police.
Carl pins his son against the house’s wall since he is too strong for Perri to grip it.
He tells him once more to do this one task for him, but Perri adamantly declines. But when he pulls Perri to the water, Carl believes he can alter his mind.
Carl pushes his head under the water, and Perri is practically fighting for his life.
When Tane gets home later that night, the house is silent. But as soon as he sees the AVO, he becomes alert and, as Perri isn’t in his room, he goes out back.
Tane is worried when he discovers Perri’s manaia pendant in the grass, but as he picks it up, he turns to face the pool. and discovers a body lying in the sea, frightened!
As Tane turns to face a traumatized Perri sitting against the wall, a voice murmurs, “I didn’t mean it.”
Tane asks what happened as he rushes over.
“I murdered my father,” Perri responds.
