The River Boys return, at least one favorite is bidding adieu, and we travel to Queensland for some truly memorable moments next year. Additionally, find out if Harper’s kid lives and if Cash accepts responsibility.

In Australia’s Home and Away season finale, Tim (George Pullar) and Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) engage in a tense confrontation that puts a life on the line.

Although we don’t yet know if Cash was at fault, we do know that Cash will be standing over Tim’s lifeless body when Justin (James Stewart) encounters him.

When we travel back to Summer Bay in 2025, it appears that Cash will have a difficult time getting his name cleared because his hands are covered in blood and Tim is lying unconscious next to him.

In the meantime, Harper’s (Jessica Redmayne) unborn son suffered a lung cyst.

Levi (Tristan Gorey) proposed that they operate on the unborn child to remove the cyst completely after an ultrasound revealed that it was larger than expected and that doing nothing would be too dangerous.

However, there were hazards associated with the operation, including the potential for Harper to experience early labor. Tane (Ethan Browne) and Dana (Ally Harris) made it their goal to persuade Harper to change her mind after she stated that “nobody is operating on my baby.”

We won’t know if Tim, Harper, and the unborn child make it through the next six weeks of the show’s hiatus until Home and Away returns to Australian television in January.

Here is what we currently know about Summer Bay’s future in 2025 while we wait:

Early January is probably when Home and Away will return to Australia. Although it hasn’t been verified yet, it is expected to return to screens on Monday, January 6, 2025, like it did on Monday, January 8, 2024, this year.

The UK will see Home and Away again on Monday, January 6, 2025.

We already know that Cash lives in Summer Bay far into 2025, indicating that he won’t be held accountable for Tim’s potentially fatal injuries, even though Justin might have believed that Cash was the reason behind Tim’s abuse.

At the Home and Away Tour in Palm Beach, Sydney, fans recently saw Nicholas Cartwright shooting with Lynne McGranger as Cash spoke with Irene at the Coffee Cart.

Given that Home and Away is shot about six months before its episodes air, the sequences were shot in early October, which means Cash will be in Summer Bay for at least the first few months of next year, if not longer.

In addition, Cash was seen filming new scenes with the River Boys, in which he arrested members of the infamous gang who are about to make a dramatic comeback.

When he returned to Yabbie Creek Police last month, he was demoted back to Constable, but it appears that he was promoted back to Senior Constable.

Later, more on that.

Fans recently witnessed filming that seems to prove Harper will give birth to her baby boy in the new year, even though the season finale may have put Tane and Harper’s unborn child in risk.

Because Palm Beach in Sydney’s Northern Beaches is a publicly accessible site, viewers frequently get a sneak peek at Summer Bay’s outdoor scenes months before they appear on television.

As part of the Home and Away Tour, fan Sara Gaze traveled to Palm Beach last week and saw a scene including Harper, Tane, and their newborn child being filmed.

With their infant in tow, the couple was seen speaking at the Coffee Cart. They were beaming as they played with their kid, who was in a baby carriage.

The best way to see Summer Bay’s actual home is to take the Home and Away Tour, which is offered every Sunday and Tuesday. You might even get to see the actors in action or meet them. Learn more.

We visit Dean (Patrick O’Connor) and Ziggy (Sophie Dillman), who are returning to Home and Away in the new year, at their new residence in Queensland, as was revealed last month.

Their sequences were shot in the tropical north Queensland Whitsunday Region towards the end of October.

The reason of the reunion is being kept under wraps by the producers, who have only described it as “a top-secret storyline that will play out at a yet to be announced date, early 2025.”

Playing Ziggy from June 2017 till her departure in 2023, Sophie Dillman made her debut as the role. “It feels so good to be home!” Sophie exclaimed upon her return to Home and Away.

“I can’t wait for the action, and for fans to see this storyline play out,” said Patrick O’Connor, who made his on-screen debut in February 2018, less than eight months after Sophie.

In order to be nearer to Dean’s son Jai (River Jarvis) and his mother Amber (Maddy Jevic), the cherished couple moved to far north Queensland with their newborn baby Izzy in March 2023, leaving Summer Bay.

In an off-screen visit to the couple earlier this year, Dean’s sister Mackenzie (Emily Weir) told her brother that she had started seeing Levi (Tristan Gorey), who had split from his wife Imogen (Georgia Blizzard) to be with her.

Will Mackenzie see her brother and sister-in-law again, this time on television, or will the two be back on our screens for some other reason? There is not much time left before we find out.

Craig Hall has spent a large portion of this year portraying Victor Stone on Neighbours, but it appears that he is set to leave the Melbourne-based soap opera this week in order to make an appearance on Home and Away in Summer Bay.

Earlier this year, a cast member shared an Instagram video showing Craig standing behind Rose Delaney actress Kirsty Marillier on the set of Northern Districts Police Station.

Ellie Gall, who portrays Nerida, Tim’s vengeful ex-client whose actions precipitated the dramatic confrontation in the finale, appears to be standing next to him.

Craig’s role and if he is in the police station on a professional basis are still unknown. If Nerida is in the film, though, it’s plausible that he shows up as a result of Cash and Tim’s continuous conflict.

Craig Hall was born in Auckland and is most recognized for his roles as Jack Duncan in A Place to Call Home and as the lead in King Kong and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

Earlier this year, when Rory (Joshua Orpin) and Dingo (Jk Kazzi) swept Summer Bay, the River Boys made a brief comeback. Before realizing that Felicity’s brother was a police officer, Rory courted Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) and they started dating.

Following his relocation to the Mangrove River police station, Cash learned that his predecessor, Franklin McGrath, had most likely been killed by his sister’s new boyfriend.

Ultimately, Cash (played by Nicholas Cartwright) made it his goal to bring down the gang, and Rory and Dingo were taken off.

Even though their leader is currently incarcerated, the notorious gang will return to Summer Bay in 2025, so this isn’t the last time we’ll see them.

Actor Rob (@slumrob.mellyonai) posted a picture of himself and fellow actor Adam Peck last month on TikTok, including their famous “Blood and Sand tattoos on display.” The caption read, “The Home and Away River Boys are back.”

The River Boys will then make a comeback as part of Dean and Ziggy’s new plot, according to Patrick O’Connor.

He disclosed: “There’s a bit of River Boy action, there’s a bit of road trips with them” in an interview with The Daily Telegraph Confidential.

The River Boys have been seen filming at Palm Beach in Sydney, but it’s unclear how Dean and Ziggy will work together as their guest appearance is scheduled to take place in Northern Queensland.

A character named Lacey, who is anticipated to appear on screens in the first half of 2025, has been identified through a publicly accessible audition tape.

In the video, Lacey is shown speaking with a “bad boy” character who was just arrested for his involvement in a fight. However, he is quick to clarify that he was merely “watching a brawl – there’s a big difference.”

The male character seems to be organizing a race day, but he encounters problems when one of the co-organizers gets into trouble for striking a police officer. Then, Lacey offers her abilities to take over the day’s operations:

Megsie Johnston, a fan, had the good fortune to witness what seemed to be two brand-new characters during filming at Palm Beach in late October. She later revealed that the characters were a River Boy and a River Girl in a post on the Home and Away Spoilers & Info Facebook group.

Are they Lacey and her friend who loves cars?

When Dingo requested Mali (Kyle Shilling) to watch over the bag that held Franklin McGrath’s possessions during the River Boys’ most recent trip to Summer Bay, Mali unintentionally became entangled in their drama. It appears that now is Theo’s (Matt Evans) moment to be implicated in their misdeeds.

Ashton Richardson, a fan, saw a scene being recorded earlier in October in which Senior Constable Cash and his associates detained several of the new River Boys.

Interestingly, Theo was in the spotlight when the other gang members were taken into custody. How did he end up getting entangled in the lads’ activities?

As they packed the gang members into police cars, Cash and his associates seemed to be swooping down on the group and making a number of arrests.

Actor Tom Wilson, who played Ryder’s pal Blake Gollan in 2019, was rumored to be part of the new River Boy cast.

Before addressing the other youngsters, Cash was observed loading the handcuffed individual into the rear of his police vehicle.

Actress Sophea Pennington, who is followed on Instagram by several members of the Home and Away cast, was also involved, raising the possibility that she would become a permanent member of the cast.

Is Sophea portraying the newest River Girl in Summer Bay?

Luke Van Os’s character, Xander Delaney, recently departed Summer Bay to go to Melbourne for a six-week internship in business.

Although Xander promised Dana that time would pass quickly and he would return soon, it is thought that Luke Van Os has completed filming and that Xander will not be going back to Summer Bay.

It appears that Rose (Kirsty Marillier), Xander’s sister, will also departing Summer Bay in the new year, following in Xander’s footsteps.

Belinda Sinclair, a show fan, saw Kirsty Marillier filming Rose’s farewell scene at Palm Beach in early October.

In the scene, Rose was driving out of the bay when she was approached by Irene (Lynne McGranger), Kirby (Angelina Thomson), and Bree (Juliet Godwin), who forced her to halt.

Irene was observed giving Rose a parting gift when she got out of the automobile. After giving each of the three a hug, Rose got back in the car and drove away from the bay.

When Kirby yells, “Go get ’em, Detective!” the others applaud. They yell, “We love you, drive safely,” as Rose leaves.

Could Rose go to the city to pursue her dreams if she were promoted to Detective? Rose is currently employed at the Yabbie Creek Police Station as a Senior Constable.

We’ll be providing Back to the Bay with all the most recent information and spoilers from Home and Away, Neighbours, and the UK soap operas during the holiday season, even though the show might not be airing for the next six and a half weeks.
