General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Falconeri Finally Awake!

This week on General Hospital, Dominic Zamprogna’s character Dante Falconeri makes a positive development. He remains unconscious and in the hospital at this time. Every step of the way, his love Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is by his side.

Sam was reading to Dante recently. She then collapsed into the chair for a snooze. However, his hand moved as she was about to close her eyes, dropping the nearby cup of water on the ground. She leaped to her feet, yelling for him to open his eyes.

And shortly on General Hospital, that’s just what he does. When Dante eventually comes to, Sam asks him if he needs anything. “Anna,” he responds. He is, in fact, speaking of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

He probably wants to tell her what transpired the night he was shot on the pier. And this might be the much-needed miracle that Steve Burton’s character, Jason Morgan, needs.

Jason Morgan Exonerated on GH?

Dante can now tell the police and everyone else exactly what happened on the docks now that he’s awake. On General Hospital, everyone knows that Jason saved Dante. They do believe he shot him first, though. Most people assume, of course, that he was unaware of Dante’s identity until it was too late.

Furthermore, everyone who knows Jason worries that he has changed during his absence and is no longer the same person. He does appear to be much the same thus far, though, and maybe others will notice that. He appears to be the same Jason to the few people who have spoken with him since his return.

However, Jason may have to serve out the remainder of his life in prison unless Dante can make an official statement regarding what transpired. Now that the investigator is conscious, Jason’s situation is improving. However, there can be issues along the road.

Dante Faces New Obstacle on General Hospital?

On GH, we are aware that Dante awakens from his coma shortly. However, it remains unclear if he remembers everything. He has undoubtedly had a horrific event and has been unconscious for a while.

Thus, it might take some time for all of his memories to come back, if they do at all. He is probably aware of Sam’s identity in addition to that of Anna. It appears that amnesia is not an option. However, it might be difficult for him to clear Jason.

He’ll probably face difficulties even if he does recall everything and clear Jason’s name. It will undoubtedly take some time for him to fully recuperate. Dante may require extensive recuperation time and physical treatment.
