Fans of Emmerdale have just recently come to know that actress Natalie J. Robb, who has been in the ITV soap opera since 2009, also starred in the rival soap opera EastEnders.

Fans of Emmerdale were completely taken aback upon discovering that Natalie J. Robb’s longtime character Moira Barton had appeared in a different soap opera.

The 49-year-old actress, who assumed the renowned Moira character in 2009, has won several accolades for her outstanding performances and has become an enormous hit with fans.

Most notably, Natalie J. Robb portrayed Moira Dingle.

In addition to her streak of hot dates, Moira’s turbulent existence in the village has seen her marry into the infamous Dingle family and cope with the heartache of her daughter’s drug overdose.

The character’s on-screen family was shocked to learn that she had a brain tumor, which shocked the character recently.

Prior to being well-known outside of Emmerdale, Natalie had previously demonstrated her acting abilities in a number of TV series and motion pictures. She began her career in soap operas back in 2001 when she appeared as Jude Carlyle on the BBC’s daytime show Doctors, according to the Mirror.

Natalie isn’t limited to Emmerdale.

The news that Natalie formerly appeared alongside a legendary Walford character on the rival soap opera EastEnders is what’s stirring up fans of Emmerdale. She made her appearance as Max Branning’s (Jake Wood) covert girlfriend, Gemma Clewes, in July 2006.

The revelation was revealed on a Facebook fan page for Emmerdale. A member had uploaded pictures of Natalie from her time on EastEnders, shocking other fans with her former position and cheekily captioned it, “Max’s bit on the side.”

“Nobody else save the actress now starring in Emmerdale as Moira Dingle. I couldn’t even recall it,” they continued. “What the heck,” along with a mind-blown emoji, was the response from another participant in the conversation.

Natalie played the part of Max’s sidekick.

Someone else expressed similar trepidation by commenting, “I had to look twice to make sure it was her.”

“Watching old episodes of #Eastenders and Moira Dingle is sg Max Branning?!!” shouted a fan on Twitter. Soaps are really problematic.

Following her departure from EastEnders in 2006, Natalie J Robb returned to the show three years later, this time as a school counselor on Waterloo Road. She then got the renowned role of Moira in Emmerdale in 2009, and she has remained there ever since.
