After viewers learned that Mackenzie Boyd chose to save his ex Charity Dingle after their crash rather than his future wife Chloe Harris, Emmerdale was a drama-filled show on Wednesday night.
The storyline for Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) after the car she was driving crashed down the side of a cliff appears to have been predicted by Emmerdale viewers.
In the episode that aired Wednesday night, Lawrence Robb’s character Mackenzie Boyd chose to save Charity Dingle rather than the mother of his child.
When Mackenzie realized the effects of his actions, he was devastated.
But in a shocking turn of events, when Mack and Charity finally made it to the bottom of the cliff, they found Chloe still alive.
Mack reassured Chloe, “I don’t know if you can hear me, but those guys are going to take care of you,” as the paramedics carried the young mother away on a stretcher.

“We’ll be right behind you, I am going to look after Reuben, he’s going to want to give you a massive hug as soon as he sees you.
“I’ve got everything under control, I promise.”
As they watched on, Charity said: “There was nothing more you could have done, you know that.”
“Yeah there was, I could have got her out first,” Mack replied as Charity went on: “Up there you just reacted, it wasn’t a choice.”

Yes, Mack insisted, it was. “And we both know it.”
Following the episode, fans flocked to social media in droves to share their opinions and theories, many of whom speculated about the identity of the van driver who struck them and what became of them.
Others appeared to believe Chloe will still pass away from her wounds.
@Mammy_white In fact, it was suggested: “What if the van driver was Kerry and she’s accidentally killed/seriously hurt her daughter #Emmerdale.”
“My prediction – both Chloe and Charity survive, the shock death is the van driver,” @HawthorneAcre concurred. Who then operates a van? There is a chance that David and Eric will die, but it would be more shocking if Eric did. #Emmerdale. I need to get a life. (sic)
Added @Mill3nnialmh: “Called it! Now the question is, was David the driver of the white van? Or who else has a white van (he is leaving the soap, but they have left it open to return)? (sic)
They’re going to drag killing Chloe out until Friday, aren’t they?, tweeted @Matt528chap. @MattMurkyfuture tweeted, “Are they going to drag it out so she dies on Friday from internal bleeding #emmerdale?”
I guess Chloe either dies in the hospital or enters a coma and passes away later, said @TVMusings22. Mack better not get away with this, I hope! No, a happy ending for him and Charity! Stupid story! #Emmerdale.” (sic)
