Following tonight’s Emmerdale episode, Chas’s life is in danger as Cain and Caleb get ready to meet Harry to exchange money for her security.
Harry (Robert Beck), who had previously been using Caleb’s (William Ash) company to transport illegal weapons without his knowledge, wasn’t too pleased when Caleb managed to put a stop to it and get rid of one of the deliveries.
After Caleb refused to follow orders, Harry severely beat him; however, he later turned his attention to Chas (Lucy Pargeter). On the fifth anniversary of the passing of Chas’ daughter Grace, Harry introduced himself to her under the name Simon and coerced her into bonding with him over “lost children.”
Chas was convinced that she and Harry might be starting a new romance even though they hadn’t hooked up until Harry revealed his true colors last night.

Chas pointed out that her brothers always just seem to cause more trouble as she talked to him about Cain and Caleb’s interactions with her son Aaron (Danny Millier) and Cain (Jeff Hordley).
“Tell me about it,” Harry commanded. Chas realized that ‘Simon’ wasn’t who he claimed to be and that she might be in danger as he continued to discuss Nate giving him problems a few weeks prior.

Chas said nervously, “I don’t know anything about that.
You’re not required to, Harry said. You just need to follow my instructions and keep your mouth shut.

When we later went back to the location, Chas was gone and Harry was talking on the phone to an unidentified person while wiping his hands. Harry explained that Chas was unaware of what was about to happen as he picked up the bracelet that Chas had been wearing and that daughter Eve had made.
“You ought to have seen the expression on her face when I, you know. But it’s finished now. Get ready, then. Because the rest of them are incapable of comprehending what is about to happen to them.
As Nate and Cain frantically searched the village and its surroundings, Cain and Caleb had already concluded that Harry must have been the new frock in Chas’s life.

We saw Chas bound and gagged in the trunk of Harry’s car in tonight’s episode. Cain and Caleb finally learned the truth about what had happened when they saw a video of Chas in distress pleading with Cain to follow Harry’s instructions as he threatens to kill her.

Right on schedule, Harry unlocked the door to Mill Cottage and declared that he simply wanted things to go back to the way they had been because “life was so much simpler when I had your cars and drivers on tap.”
Harry explained that he intended this to be a long-term business arrangement—there was going to be no changing their minds or losing any packages. He promised Cain that they would get Chas back unharmed if they complied.
Harry then told Cain that he knew Kyle and Isaac’s schools to further drive the point home. Cain was about to lose it when Harry was taken by surprise by an alternate suggestion from Cain, who Caleb had attempted to calm down.
Cain said calmly, “We can pay you… thirty grand, in euros. “That’s a significant portion of the total, and it’s completely untraceable.”
Naturally, Cain is referring to the $30,000 that Aaron was found to have stolen from some Italian mobster, which was the very reason that Cain and Caleb had traveled to Italy to find him before he caused more trouble.

At a press conference last week, Danny Miller teased EverySoap and other members of the media, saying, “That money will be put to good use at some point.” “Whether or not Aaron is responsible for that is a different matter. However, the money he believes to be his will be used for good in some way.

Cain agreed to send Harry proof of the money before the exchange, showing that Harry had apparently been persuaded by the idea.
Chas was to be returned unharmed, and Cain stipulated that Harry would never get in touch with them again, moving his evil deeds elsewhere.

Aaron was less than pleased to see Cain begin sorting through the money when he returned to the abandoned Wylie’s Farm, where they were holding him at the time.
Aaron was more worried about Cain’s apparent capitulation than his apparent resistance after learning of his mother’s plight. “You ought to be beating him, not collapsing,” In an exclamation, Aaron offered to join them.

Aaron suggested how it would affect the family as a whole, but Cain was uninterested, prompting Caleb to question whether Aaron was right to need a backup plan.
He told Cain, “I’m just looking out for you. “I don’t want your reputation to suffer. It’s about the family, not just about you. Together, we should demonstrate to this little snot that we are not to be trifled with.

Aaron played a different game in an attempt to get into the fight as Cain counted out the money, insisting he still loved Chas despite having disowned her. When Aaron made a grab for ‘his’ money, Cain realized it wasn’t at all about Chas while Caleb was still debating whether it would be a good idea to bring some backup. Worth a shot, Aaron muttered.
Before he and Caleb left for the meeting place, Cain gave Aaron a good smack on the face. We saw Harry waiting there with Chas still restrained in the trunk of his car.

Harry cautioned Chas, “This whole thing better go down without any nasty surprises.” “Believe me, I hate surprises very much.”
Will Cain, Caleb, and Chas survive as we move onto Emmerdale’s final episode of Super Soap Week this year tomorrow night?
Jeff Hordley was surprised when all eyes turned to him when he was asked at the press conference last week which of Cain and Caleb would be more likely to kill Harry if it came down to it.
He laughed and said, “Why are you looking at me?” before agreeing.
“I would probably say Cain, he’s more capable, even though he’s still never done it.”
Will Ash continued, “Caleb is involved in that world and will function there. But he is aware of the boundary. Caleb would never torture someone or attempt to extract a confession from them, whereas Cain is more likely to do so.

“Cain pulls Caleb along with this sort of stuff,” Jeff said. We’ve already seen him say, “I’ve got this little road trip, will you help me out,” and Caleb will reply, “Yeah, okay.”
Caleb will follow suit and support Cain, but he won’t take the initiative and say, “Let’s do this,” While other times, Caleb will persuade Cain by warning him against doing something, says Jeff. They seem to complement one another in different ways and guide one another in directions the other might not necessarily go.
Will continues, “Cain’s more inclined to be aggressive and violent, whereas Caleb is more thoughtful.” Well, there is in Emmerdale, so I believe there is room for both.
In another part of the village, Mackenzie (Lawrance Robb) was still suffering from guilt over saving Charity (Emma Atkins), his estranged wife, rather than his fiance, Chloe (Jessie Elland), who is also the father of his child.

As the car was about to crash off a cliff, Mack was forced to make the impossible decision of holding onto one of the women’s arms. Mack chose Charity, leaving Chloe to fall to what appeared to be certain death.

Despite suffering a severe head injury, a lacerated liver, and a broken pelvis, Chloe miraculously survived the fall. She was airlifted to the hospital, where she underwent brain surgery before being put into an induced coma.

Mack sat by Chloe’s bedside in tears as he apologized, haunted by the look in her eyes as she realized he had chosen Charity over her. He and Charity had told Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson), the sister of Chloe, and Matty (Ash Palmisciano), her fiancé, that he was unable to save Chloe, but they had kept quiet about what had actually transpired.

Mack kept telling himself he was trying to get them both out, but Charity was still unsure what it meant for them that he had chosen to save her.

If Chloe survives, will she remember what happened just before she fell, and if so, when?
