On the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, some young people are about to fight when a sinister secret is spread throughout the community.

Gabrielle Dowling’s character Cathy Hope from Emmerdale recently confided in her friend April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) about her desire to conceive a child with Samson Dingle (Sam Hall).

On the ITV soap, Samson already has a young child with Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell), who gave birth in a barn during Super Soap Week of the previous year.

To deal with her Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, which causes mood swings and heavy periods, Cathy came up with the idea.

According to her research, pregnancy may help Cathy’s symptoms for months or even permanently.

But when April realized how far Cathy would go to ease her symptoms, she was astounded.

In yet-to-air scenes on the ITV soap, April tells Samson about Cathy’s pregnancy plan, leaving him speechless.

He asks Cathy for clarification out of hurt and incredulity, but Cathy is unsure of how to respond. Does he intend to leave Cathy?

Later, April and Cathy’s argument with one another causes Bob Hope’s (Tony Audenshaw) tour of the B&B to be ruined.

Will the girls be able to set aside their differences and move forward as a group? Or is there no turning back after this acrimonious argument?

Cathy has been having emotional difficulties for the past year and has gotten angry with her father Bob and other people in the village.

The youngster was somewhat relieved to receive the diagnosis, but she is still having difficulty navigating her way through her teenage years while living with the condition.

If Amelia learns that Cathy intends to have a child with her ex Samson, could she find herself in an even worse situation? Amelia has moved on, but she doesn’t want him to suffer harm or fall for a lie.
