In the most recent episode of EastEnders, tragic events involving Eve Unwin following a traumatic family meal were broadcast.
Eve and Suki returned last week after a visit to Eve’s wounded mother in Yorkshire, whom Nish had earlier ordered attacked in an attempt to reestablish a relationship with his ex-wife.
Eve is aware that Nish was taken into custody for Keanu’s murder during her absence, but she is unaware of the other events that took place in the Square during the week of Halloween.
When Nish learned the truth about what had happened on Christmas Day of last year, Suki felt compelled to reconcile with him in return for his quiet. The two were blessed together before he ultimately made the decision to turn himself in for the crime.
Suki asked the Panesars not to share the blessing with Eve in today’s episode, stating that she preferred to do it at her own pace.
As the family gathered around the table ordering takeout, Eve disclosed that she and Suki had decided on New Year’s Day as the date of their impending nuptials.
However, Avani soon revealed the truth and angrily informed Eve that her grandparents had received a wedding blessing while she was abroad, leaving Eve speechless.
When left alone, Eve pressed her fiancé for explanations, and Suki confessed that it was Nish’s final request and that she felt bad about it.
However, Eve didn’t believe this and realized that Nish had to have done something to make Suki receive the blessing.
Eve was so distraught that she left the house in tears as Suki refused to give her an explanation.
Bernie, who is having a hard time accepting that Nish is to blame for her brother’s murder, saw Eve when she went to The Vic for a drink.
She made the decision to talk to Bernie and informed her that Nish’s incarceration was a good thing because he is a killer and a manipulator.
Bernie rolled her eyes as Eve talked about how much she loved Suki and how pure and honest she is, and then she made the decision to tell Eve the startling reality.
“You think she’s kind, honest?” “I said,” she said. “Well, she isn’t. Linda murdered Keanu; Nish didn’t take him away from me. She got away with it thanks to your amazing Suki.
What will happen to Eve and Suki’s relationship now that she has been stunned by this revelation?
