Spoilers from an EastEnders episode that hasn’t yet broadcast on BBC One but can be seen on BBC iPlayer can be found in the following article.
We are in shock that Joe Wicks—no, not that Joe Wicks—is back on EastEnders.
Following a troubling call from Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), David Wicks (Michael French) returned to Walford at the conclusion of the previous week. Her friend Bianca (Patsy Palmer), who had been acting strangely for months, has been causing her concern.
David has been keeping a secret about a lady named Holly for the past week in addition to attempting to get Bianca some mental health treatment.
She has texted and called him, but he won’t reveal her true identity to anybody.
But in the episode that aired today, we finally learned.

David had intended to leave Walford last night, but when he saw Cindy (Michelle Collins) and Junior (Micah Balfour) sharing a kiss on the side of the bar, he was compelled to remain for a few more hours.
There were several flashbacks in the altercation between David and Cindy at Beale’s Eels. Cindy believed that David’s affair with her was just as awful as hers because they had slept together and had misled Ian (Adam Woodyatt) in the past.
David, who was certain that revealing Cindy’s affair was in her and Ian’s best interests, stopped their talk when he walked out of the restaurant and into the pub.
But as Ian started talking about putting the past behind him and concentrating on the present, David became sidetracked.
David told Cindy to focus on her connection with Ian outside. Sincerely, we’re not even shocked that they kissed before heading their own ways.

David’s phone rang as he was leaving Albert Square again, and it was Holly.
The girl asked David if he would still be coming to see her when she graduated. Holly became David’s grandchild when she handed the phone to Joe Wicks, David’s son, played by Paul Nicholls, after she brought up her father.
After hanging up the phone, David headed out of Walford, eager to visit Joe and Holly. However, it might not be long until she comes clean.
Freddie’s (Bobby Brazier) bird microphone, a powerful instrument with great sound pickup, was hidden behind a window.
And Freddie is going to be in for a big surprise when he plays back the recording.
