When an EastEnders celebrity visited Norwich this week, he took up the atmosphere at Norwich Market.
Known for his role as Ben Mitchell in the BBC serial opera, Max Bowden is presently on a national tour with Birdsong.
The narrative of one man’s journey through an obsessive love affair and into the tragedy of the First World War is told in this adaptation of Sebastian Faulks’ best-selling 1993 novel.

Bowden plays Jack Firebrace in the production, which runs at Norwich Theatre Royal until Saturday, November 16.
When he visited Norwich Market on Wednesday afternoon, Brennan co-star James Findlay treated the people to a musical performance.

Findlay played the accordion while they sat on the benches at the top of the market. Two individuals were seen dancing in a video that was uploaded on Bowden’s Instagram account.
“James Findlay leaves Norwich wanting more,” he wrote as the caption. His ability to form friendships has always impressed me.
