The Christmas Day special’s shocking murder scene was revealed after a soap opera star abandoned top-secret documents on a commuter train.

After inadvertently leaving a screenplay with plot clues on a train that would reveal an impending Christmas death surprise, an EastEnders cast member is in hot water.

According to reports, the unidentified actress abandoned the rehearsal papers on a crowded train.

One of the main characters will be murdered off on Christmas Day, according to the newspaper.

On the morning of October 31, the top-secret paper was discovered on a Thameslink train at the Elstree & Borehamwood station in Hertfordshire, which is close to the location of the BBC soap opera.

The fictitious Albert Square serves as the backdrop for EastEnders.

Given that some sections were underlined, Post-it notes were included, and there was supposedly even a copy of the star’s work schedule, it was easy to determine who owned the screenplay.

The man who discovered the script pages gathered them up and gave them to his wife, an EastEnders fan, who subsequently tried to return the materials to their proper location.

“[My husband] is not a big fan of soap operas, but he knows I adore them, so he told me right away,” she told The Sun. I adore EastEnders, so I was ecstatic. I was not let down when I finally got around to reading the script. A major figure is eliminated, and there’s a shocking turn of events.”

By contacting the actress on social media, the lady attempted to bring the pages back together. If it didn’t work, the pages were sent back straight to Eastenders.

A representative for EastEnders expressed gratitude for the “safe return of our festive scripts.”

An EastEnders spokesman has been contacted by The Standard for comment.

The spokesperson told The Sun, “Our surprises will remain a treat this Christmas and beyond, as we know how much the audience loves watching the drama unfold for themselves, rather than having it spoilt.”

Every soap opera knows that Christmas is the most dramatic season, and EastEnders is no exception.

The persona of Kellie Bright This Christmas, Linda Carter could be murdered off.

In scenes that aired on Christmas Day last year, Linda Cart (Kellie Bright) brutally stabbed Danny Walters’ character Keanu Taylor with a carving fork.

Members of Bright’s on-screen family were seen recording a funeral without her presence, making her one of the characters in danger of dying this holiday season.

Another unhappy Albert Square resident who could meet his maker is Alfie Moon, played by Shane Richie.

In an interview with Radio Times last month, the actor, who has portrayed the role since 2002, talked about the future of his character as Alfie fights prostate cancer.

In a recent interview, actor Shane Richie, who plays Alfie Moon (pictured), raised fears among fans that his character would pass away.

“I purposely didn’t read [the script] because I knew that Kat and Alfie would be involved, and I didn’t really want to know what was going to happen in the Queen Vic on Christmas Day,” he stated. “A few things happened on Christmas Day.” But my God!

“As a fan of the show anyhow, I was like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe this!'” as I sat there watching this drama that takes place in the Queen Vic on Christmas Day. Stop!’. Due of my intense interest in the plot, I kept making mistakes when I had to deliver a line. This Christmas Day, you’ll be in for a delightful treat.
