Fans of EastEnders worry that Linda Carter could be murdered off around Christmas, and some viewers think they know who is responsible for her untimely demise.
Fans of EastEnders are on edge since the most recent episode of the BBC soap opera alluded to speculation that Linda Carter would die this Christmas. Furthermore, the audience believes they have found out who killed her and what caused the character’s terrible ending. The actors recently shot the funeral; however EastEnders has not officially verified allegations of a Christmas death. Nevertheless, all indications tend to suggest that Linda is the one who passes away, in light of recent allegations that a significant character’s death was disclosed by a misplaced screenplay.
It’s uncertain whether the funeral is real, but it’s also unknown if this truly occurs. If alcoholic Linda doesn’t get the care she needs, fans have been wondering if this is a dream sequence or a scenario from the future. During the return of Dean Wicks and the murder of Keanu Taylor in late 2023, Linda, who had been fighting alcoholism on-screen for the last few years, relapsed. Last Christmas Day, Linda unintentionally murdered Keanu to save her friend Sharon Watts from Keanu’s attack.
Nish Panesar has subsequently accepted responsibility for the crime, which was covered up by the two ladies and the other members of The Six. Despite knowing the truth, Bernadette Taylor wants to get revenge on her brother, according to the Mirror.

Bernie ruthlessly handed Linda a bottle, claiming she would “drink herself to death anyway” while taking abuse.
Fans were appalled with her cunning since it was a clear attempt to incite a relapse, following a similar tactic from weeks earlier. Tragically, Linda faltered, ending her on-screen dry stint and skipping her recuperation session.
Fans are assembling the evidence and are certain that Linda will die as a result of Bernie’s evil deeds. They fear that Bernie has overreached herself this time and will continue to prod Linda while she is depressed.
The fan community is speculating, with some accusing Bernie of being responsible for Linda’s danger. On X, one viewer expressed their fear: “IF LINDA DIES BERNIE WILL BE THE REASON FOR HER DEATH.” “Are we really forcing Linda to drink to death and we keep Bernie?” another person said, and another person added: “Could this lead to Linda potentially being the one to die at Christmas?”
