Among the several Walford residents caught up in the August EastEnders club crush was Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa).
The only reason the experience happened was because Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) was upset with Penny (Kitty Castledine) for stealing her job and decided to tamper with the booking system.
This made it possible for additional individuals to get tickets even though the event was already almost sold out.
The scene swiftly descended into chaos and danger as more individuals entered Peggy’s.
Lauren eventually discovered a closed office door, broke through, and discovered a route out. The door opened, and Lauren noticed Cindy (Michelle Collins) right away. Cindy was not aware that she was still having an affair in that room with Junior (Micah Balfour).

Lauren was trampled on after falling because so many people were crammed through the entrance in a hurry about getting away.
A medical professional at the hospital verified that Lauren had shattered ribs, a damaged lung, and injuries to her chest wall.
Fans have noted that Lauren hasn’t fully recovered from the incident, even if she has started to feel better since then.
In yesterday’s episode of the BBC One soap opera, Lauren wasn’t “feeling great” and had other arrangements with Peter (Thomas Law), so Penny (Kitty Castledine) asked if she wanted to go out for a drink that night.

Fans of the BBC One soap opera are taking to social media to express their worry for Lauren, asking if she will become dependent on drugs in an attempt to manage her suffering following the accident.
“We’ll give you more when the pain starts again.” Is anyone else foreseeing Lauren developing an addiction to prescription painkillers in the near future? One admirer pondered, “#EastEnders.”
“Pain killer addiction definitely and with her liver from drinking i don’t think it’s the best move,” another person said online.
A few weeks ago, actress Jacqueline Jossa made a clue about a significant new plot for her character. This notion follows.
“When the pain starts again, we’ll give you more” – anyone else seeing a prescription painkiller addiction in Lauren’s future?! #EastEnders

I’m wondering if an incident is going to happen with Lauren. That crush at Peggy’s has been weeks and weeks ago and she’s a couple of times creased in pain. I’m wondering if a storyline will kick in with Lauren having complications from the accident. #EastEnders

The actress, who will make a comeback to television in December 2023, conducted a Q&A session with her admirers on Instagram. Among the questions she answered were whether or not she was enjoying her time back on the BBC soap opera and how many hours a day she often worked.
If you’re in that week of episodes, it varies according on how much of an episode you’re in. We shoot in batches, so it’s constantly changing, according to Jacqueline.
In response to the fan’s inquiry, Jacqueline stated that she is filming “a lot” at the moment and then said that it “depends how much you’re in the stories.”
In yesterday’s episode of club crush, Jack Branning (played by Scott Maslen) informed his family that they would have to decide in order to spare Chelsea—or Penny—from the penalties of the police.

When it came time to cast the deciding vote, Jack surprised Penny by selecting Chelsea.
Penny had originally intended to go to the police and report Chelsea herself, but after seeing her with little Jordan, she had second thoughts.
Later, Penny informed Lauren that she would walk away from the issue but would “ruin” Jack for betraying him since she didn’t want to take Jordan’s sole father away from him.
