Some EastEnders watchers believe that Nicola Mitchell is concealing a significant family secret concerning Barney, despite the fact that she has only been in Walford for a few days and has already produced a great deal of turmoil.
The Walford newbie made it apparent that she already knew Zack Hudson (James Farrar), which sparked a crazy notion regarding her son Barney (Lewis Bridgeman). EastEnders has announced a twist for Nicola Mitchell (played by Laura Doddington).
Harry (Elijah Holloway), Nicola’s eldest son, was being detained on suspicion of murder earlier this week when she arrived in the Square. Harry was freed after being given a fake alibi, but a shocking revelation soon followed.
The fact that Nicola and the ex-couple were at odds did not please Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian). Barney (played by Lewis Bridgeman), Nicola’s youngest son, watched uneasily as her falsehoods about being in Bali and “finding herself” were revealed.
It turned out that Nicola, a failing beautician, had been imprisoned for ABH after giving a girl an illegal lip filler injection. Teddy, the victim’s estranged husband, acknowledged that the woman had been on a drip for three days, and Nicola even refused to give her money back.
However, another discovery came on Wednesday, November 13, when Nicola ran into Zack Hudson outside of The Queen Vic.
When he came up to her to make sure it was her, she exclaimed, “I nearly had a heart attack when I saw you at that bar.” Previously, the two had met briefly.
“Some men are unforgettable, even after all these years,” she added. “Are you still a physical therapist? Since you gave it a go, my core has changed.
Following their flirtatious conversation, Nicola asked Zack to pretend they were strangers because her husband and children were there.
Some fans are now claiming Zack is Barney’s real father, and the moment strongly suggested they had an affair when Nicola was married to Teddy.
One user said on X: “What if Barney is Zack’s son? #EASTENDERS.
Another said: “Is Zack Barney’s father? There is a similarity to #EastEnders.
A third person said, “There wasn’t a need to shoehorn Zack into her past unless this is a possibility.” Another said, “Barney’s father will be Zack.”
