Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon Returns To Set Of ITV Soap After Three Year Break

Lucy Fallon, an actress from Coronation Street, appeared in an exclusive clip posted on their Instagram page.
Lucy Fallon, who left the cobbles of Coronation Street three years ago, has started filming again for the soap.

The actress revealed she is back on set filming as her character Bethany Platt in a clip posted on the soap’s Instagram account.

27-year-old Lucy can be heard saying: “Hello everyone, Bethany here, please. Today is my first day of filming since I left, and I’m very eager.

I’m excited for you all to see what Bethany is up to, but a little nervous as well. “Bye!” she concluded.

They captioned the video with: “Look who’s back! Bethany is back in a completely different outfit.

“Be on the lookout for her onscreen debut toward the end of the year. Corrie @lucyfallon.

As soon as the character’s return to the show was announced, fans flocked to the comment section to express their views.

“Cannot wait for this,” one user wrote. I sincerely hope Bethany and Sarah continue to spar, as it was always so entertaining.

When Lucy joined the cast of Coronation Street in 2015, she made her professional acting debut there.

Her final appearance aired on March 4, 2020, the day after her contract expired.

Bethany made the decision to leave Weatherfield after her relationship with Daniel Osbourne ended in order to pursue a new job opportunity in London.

During her tenure on the show, the actress took part in a number of high-profile storylines, including the grooming plot in which her character Bethany was forced into having sex.

She ran into Nathan Curtis, a member of a gang that pimped out young girls by grooming them.
