Glenda in Rovers robbery

Since Daisy is out with Ryan and Jenny has gone out to dinner with Rita, Glenda is in charge of the speed dating event this evening. Though romance isn’t exactly in the air, she glams up and gives it her all. When Glenda enters the bar after the evening has ended and it has closed, she is startled to see men in masks robbing the establishment. She obeys the command to go on the ground while yelling in fear. After that, the burglars dash off with their loot. As she contacts the police, Glenda is in tears and in a panic.

Jenny demands that Glenda take the morning off to recuperate after learning they’ve been robbed when she returns. But Glenda is obviously having trouble, especially once it’s found that Paul’s laptop—which had all of his voice recordings—has been stolen.

Later, Glenda offers to pour Daisy and Jenny a nightcap, but when she enters the bar, she is forced to relive the previous evening’s events. She obviously needs help, but will anyone notice and provide it?

Steve speed dates in Coronation Street spoilers

Steve attends the Rovers speed dating night in a desperate attempt to get back on the horse. When he ends up across from Tracy, things don’t go well at all!

But when Cassie is his next “date,” everything gets better. Steve proposes that they get together again as the two are clicking. Is this the next wife for Steve? And is this a smart concept, really?

Adam makes a request of Sarah

Sarah pays Adam a visit at his house and requests a postponement of the apartment sale. She is told there’s no rush by Adam. Subtly, he then expresses his desire for them to rekindle their friendship. Sarah, however, realizes it’s too soon and leaves quickly.

Chesney receives a call from Dawn, the Oakhill admissions officer, informing him that Joseph passed the test. She will be available tomorrow to conduct an interview at his house as the following step.
