The barmaid finds herself in serious jeopardy when she walks in on a group of hooded men plundering the pub’s proceeds and booze stock. But will she make it through her terrifying experience?

Spoilers for Coronation Street: Jenny and Glenda conspire while Daisy becomes enraged
Jenny informs Daisy and Glenda about her plans for a speed-dating evening in the Rovers. Glenda is excited about the plan and is fully on board, while Daisy grits her teeth and pretends to grin.

Later, Daisy leaves with Ryan and Jenny leaves for an elegant dinner with Rita, and Glenda accepts to host the speed dating event. Aside from Christina flirting with a single gentleman who has tattoos, the evening lacks romance despite Glenda’s glamorous appearance for the occasion.

Glenda walks through to the bar as the pub is closed for the evening. When she discovers masked robbers robbing the till, she is frightened.

Glenda is ordered to get on the ground by one of the men. Glenda, terrified, nods.

An irate Glenda phones the police as the burglars depart with the loot. Later, Glenda delivers the unfavorable news to Jenny when she gets home.

After the robbery ordeal, Glenda struggles.
Glenda puts on a brave face the following day, but Jenny demands that she take the morning off from work.

When Paul and Billy visit the Rovers to get Paul’s laptop, they are devastated to discover that the burglars took it. Glenda feels much worse than she did before because of this.

As the bar closes for the day, Glenda offers to make Jenny and Daisy some alcohol for their evening. But she’s made to relive the previous night’s events as she makes her way to the pub.

It’s obvious that Glenda is suffering from the trauma.
