Ruby Allen’s dramatic comeback has been hinted at by EastEnders actress Louisa Lytton.

We know that Martin Fowler (James Bye) will suffer greatly as a result of the 35-year-old star’s planned return to the BBC serial opera in September.

The last time she appeared on TV was in 2021, when Ruby was imprisoned after the Slater family falsely accused her of operating a cannabis plantation.

She claimed to be expecting Martin’s kid just before she left, but he didn’t trust her after learning of all the falsehoods Ruby said, which resulted in Stacey’s incarceration.

She was the best friend of Stacey.

She was an old cellmate of Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman), who told Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) that she was transferred to give birth, thus we now know that this is accurate.

She will undoubtedly stir things up again when she returns!

Louisa clarified, “That’s Ruby’s character—she comes in and shakes things up, says and does the wrong thing, and she definitely comes out with a lot of drama.”

Martin didn’t think she was expecting a child.

“But she does have her priorities in order now that she is a mother.”

“I don’t think she’ll go out of her way to make mistakes or make wrong decisions like she has done in the past, but she will still make mistakes,” she added to The Sun’s TV magazine.

“I believe Ruby has been lacking a purpose in life for a long time, and becoming a mother has finally given her one.”

She is the most recent to return before the 40th.

The vast list of characters that have made a comeback this year in anticipation of the show’s 40th anniversary festivities in February also includes Louisa.

“It feels right for Ruby to return because I’ve been a part of this show for 20 years,” she continued.

I think we still have a lot of work to do with her. She has a long history with a lot of different personas.
