Known for portraying Dani Sutherland on the popular soap opera, Tammin Sursok has been cast in the romantic comedy Trivia at St. Nicks, which will run on Hallmark over the holiday season.

The movie revolves around the life of the teachers at a prestigious university in Vermont, who gather together to enjoy the holidays after the students leave for the summer.

Tammin Sursok plays the role of Celeste, a professor of astronomy, and Brant Daugherty plays Max, the coordinator of the football team.

After a brief argument, Celeste is overcome by his contagious enthusiasm for Christmas.

As they march toward the Christmas tournament, love grows over Christmas activities following an initial argument.

However, she may be familiar to soap opera viewers from her time as Dani Sutherland.

The 41-year-old portrayed the role until 2004, when she quit at the young age of 21 to pursue a career in acting and singing.

The rebellious Sutherland family, who occupied the trailer park, had an eldest daughter named Dani.

Tammin followed in the footsteps of pop sensation Kylie Minogue and other celebrities by signing with Sony BMG Music Entertainment after her stint in the soap opera.

On May 22, 2005, her solo album Whatever will Be was made available.

However, after moving to Los Angeles from Australia in 2006, she has concentrated on film and television work.

She played Marjorie in her first movie, Aquamarine.

After that, she returned to American soap operas, landing a leading part as Colleen on The Young and the Restless.

She made eight appearances as Hannah Montana on The Disney Channel three years later before landing the role of Jenna Marshall in ABC Family’s adaption of the Sara Shephard teen mystery novel Pretty Little Liars.

She landed a number of movie roles that same year, including those of Rosalyn in Crossing Over, Stacey in Albino Farm, Carrie in Flicka 2, and Natalie in Husk.

Before returning to Down Under, she portrayed Sarah Corso in Driving By Braille. In 2022, she joined rival Neighbours as Montana Marcel.

However, she is back in the United States for her most recent work.
