But when Bernie unexpectedly returns, Linda’s excitement plummets; she cautions that neither of them will be able to move on.
Bernie is upset that Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) is assuming responsibility for Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) murder, while Linda is forced to explain her poorly handled confession.

Suki begs her family to keep her and Nish’s blessing a secret so she may tell her fiancée, Eve, about it whenever she sees fit.
But shortly after, Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) reveals the fact; Eve is heartbroken by the shocking revelation and finds it difficult to believe Suki’s justifications.
Suki wonders if she can undo the damage before she storms off to The Queen Vic.
Eve was unaware that Suki only consented to Nish’s demands in order to keep the truth about Keanu’s death from coming to light. Is Suki about to lose all she has worked so hard to maintain for almost a year?

Both Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Sharon Watts (Leticia Dean) try to connect with Phil, who is growing more reclusive every day.
Despite their best efforts, Phil doesn’t express his emotions and stays silent. Later, Sharon asks Phil to think again about selling Peggy’s, wondering whether he really wants to give up the cherished location.
Phil feels depressed over the ongoing sale, but he blocks Sharon’s attempts to talk about it.

Next week, Laura Doddington’s character Nicola Mitchell will make a dramatic appearance in Walford, but she has a big secret.
Scott Maslen’s character, Jack Branning, is determined to break away from Harry Mitchell’s (Elijah Holloway) control. He uses his contacts in the police force to look into the disappearance of Harry’s girlfriend, Shireen.
Harry is warned by Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine), who then demands that she persuade Jack to back down by threatening to reveal her role in the plot against her father.
In an effort to talk Shireen out of becoming engaged, Penny convinces Jack to let her meet her friend Felicity (the character named). However, Penny is left feeling quite uneasy after hearing Felicity’s terrifying description of Shireen’s fate.
EastEnders Spoilers – Harry’s Furious Over Being Arrested
As Jack and Penny watch the police arrive to take Harry into jail, Nicola, the mother of Harry and Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgemen), enters the room.
Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian), her ex-husband, annoys Phil by making an absurdly low offer for Peggy’s and dismisses him.
Teddy is shocked by Nicola’s unexpected arrival and asks why she is in Walford. Nicola responds that she got a tip about Harry’s arrest and is come to help.
But Teddy decides to take advantage of a big secret from Nicola’s history, and she keeps annoying him throughout the week.
Before introducing herself to Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) and deftly obtaining an invitation to the lunch that Honey has organized with Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) and Teddy, Nicola immediately grows distaste for Sharon.
EastEnders Spoilers: Harry Wants Revenge, Nicola Stirs The Pot
In order to get a place to stay, Nicola chooses to further stir the pot at dinner by telling Billy and Honey about her marriage to Teddy. She enjoys the discomfort it gives him.
What is Nicola planning when she sees Teddy setting up a meeting with Phil to complete the paperwork for the bar sale, and she confronts Phil about it? While Jack demands information about what Penny disclosed to the Mitchells, her objective is to determine Penny’s involvement in Harry’s imprisonment.
How will their meeting unfold given that Jack has been blackmailed for his attack on Harry and that Harry is targeting Penny and telling him some unpleasant facts? And is Harry really responsible for killing his ex?
EastEnders Spoilers: Gina Knight Teases Junior Knight
The absence of his little son Xavier Knight (Chase Dean-Williams) from George Knight’s (Colin Salmon) and Elaine’s wedding irritates Junior Knight (Micah Balfour).
As a result, his half-sister Gina Knight (played by Francesca Henry) makes a bet: Junior has to bring his secret lover if she can set a wedding date in the next 24 hours.
After Gina and their sister Anna (played by Molly Rainford) are successful in finding partners, Gina informs Junior that he has lost the wager and needs to bring his mystery date.
He confesses to being dumped as a result of her mocking; Elaine urges George to ask Junior to be his best man, but George is hesitant and chooses Phil instead out of fear of being rejected.
How will Junior react when George finally finds the confidence to ask Junior to stand with him on his special day after Phil forces him to take a chance?
