Coronation Street icon Hayley Cropper could return to the ITV cobbles more than a decade after her death as Roy becomes the number one suspect in Lauren Bolton’s disappearance

Favorite Hayley Cropper from Coronation Street is reportedly planning a comeback to the well-known cobbles ten years after her passing.

ITV viewers have been following her husband Roy Cropper (David Neilson), who was detained in connection with his employee Lauren Bolton’s disappearance last month, as he finds himself in a world of problems during the previous few weeks. And things only became worse after the proprietor of the company startled the locals by attending her vigil and making a dubious speech.

Since then, locals have used to social media to criticize the café owner, who is now the primary suspect in her case. It’s hardly shocking that after being harassed by the police and his clients nonstop, Roy has started sleepwalking once more.

As the endearing favorite starts his downward spiral, Daily Star has tested one of the most well-liked artificially intelligent “creative” tools in the world, Gemini, to find out what is ahead for him. And it seems that dreams could be Roy’s way of connecting with his late wife.

Julie Hesmondhalgh’s character Hayley tragically passed away on the streets in 2014 after committing suicide after a protracted fight with pancreatic cancer. Her character hasn’t returned to the show since then, but that might be about to change.

We were informed via the web program that Hayley Cropper would show up in Roy’s hallucinations or nightmares as Hayley Cropper returning to Coronation Street. Soap operas are recognized for their use of fantasy, and it is not unusual for characters to come back to life or to materialize in dreams.

Loyal viewers of the show will already be aware of Roy’s history of sleepwalking, a long-term health issue that flares up whenever he goes through challenging circumstances. This began after his parents passed away and most recently reappeared before his major surgery last year.

The AI system continued by stating that his mental health will suffer from the intense inspection, leading to a greater sense of loneliness and isolation. The statement said, “Roy might isolate himself as a result of his damaged reputation, fearing criticism from friends and neighbors.”

This isolation can make his mental anguish worse. Even if found not guilty, Roy might carry a strong sense of accountability for Lauren’s predicament. If her fate is still unknown, he may struggle with sadness and guilt.

It happens after Roy found Lauren’s mother Kerry’s contact information online. The proprietor of the café disregarded his close friend Evelyn Plummer’s (Dame Maureen Lipman) advise to stay away from her.

Supporters saw him record a message for her over the phone, offering his deepest condolences, but could this gaffe backfire? Dee-Dee Bailey has offered to assist Roy in clearing his name in the interim.
