Coronation Street star Cait Fitton plays the missing Lauren Bolton on the ITV soap and appeared to confirm her character’s fate in an easy-to-miss social media post

In a heartfelt Instagram post this week, Coronation Street star Cait Fitton quickly professed her love for a close co-star.

On the cobbles, Cait portrays Lauren Bolton, who is missing at the moment and is thought to have been murdered following a thorough search near Weatherfield. The actress recently shared a cute photo of herself and her coworker Julia Goulding, who is most known for playing Shona Platt.

Wearing enormous fleece ITV coats, the couple appeared to be posing with their cheeks squeezed together and big smiles on their faces in a cute photo taken on the Roy’s Rolls set. “Happy Birthday to this beautiful lady @julia_goulding,” Cait commented over the photo.

“I love and miss you so much [heart emoji].” By implying that she isn’t filming on the cobbles right now, Cait seemed to confirm her future on the show. This is a major clue that Lauren has been killed off rather than just going AWOL.

In addition, Cait modified her Instagram bio to read, “Previously Lauren in @CoronationStreet.” She also included a missing poster that included information about her character and the date of her last sighting, which was February 23.

It happens after bloodstains were discovered splattered all over Lauren’s apartment, and followers posted a computation on social media that “proves” who killed or abducted Lauren. Supporters believe Nathan Curtis, the abuser of Bethany Platt, might be at fault, and the math suggests the sex trafficker might have been let out of jail.

In 2017, Nathan and his accomplices were convicted of both rape and conspiracy to commit rape. The typical prison term for rape is between four and 19 years. Although the length of Nathan’s sentence for his crimes was never stated on the show, people found guilty typically serve about ten years. Nathan might have been released in 2022 if he had been halved for good behavior, which would have given him plenty of time to woo Lauren as her “boyfriend.”

Rowan, the most recent “cult leader” to take over from Leanne and Simon, is among the other suspects. With his dubious connections to “The Institute,” Rowan made his debut around the time Lauren vanished, causing people to shudder.

“Okay so the Lauren storyline is leading into the cult storyline?” a user on X said. One person said, “I don’t trust Rowan at all.” Another person questioned: “Is this storyline about Rowa and the Wellness Institute just meant to be funny, or is it another attempt to raise awareness of the dark side of the internet?”
