General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Business Shifts Toward A Family Model — And Willow Won’t Stand For It

According to General Hospital spoilers, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is in a terrible situation and doesn’t have many people left in his life.

Ava Jerome (Maura West), who may have more parts to play in the future, has taken center stage as his new ride-or-die bestie as his corner continues to clear out following his decision to kick most of his loved ones to the curb.

Their relationship can become more difficult if Sonny finds out that Ava was aware of Nina Reeves Corinthos’ (Cynthia Watros) attack on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) from the beginning. Ava could end up being Sonny’s next love interest.

He might be forced to rely on recent enemies with whom he is uncomfortable, and not everyone else will be either, as he grows more and more in need of having people he can trust by his side.

General Hospital Spoilers — Father and Son Make Amends

Sonny was enraged, but that was really just a mask for how betrayed he felt, when he discovered that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was aware of Nina’s plan to have Carly locked up and had concealed it from him.

To make matters worst, learning that Michael had recruited Evan Hofer’s character, Dex Heller, to infiltrate his company and destroy him from the inside out, was just too much to handle.

Since his son insisted he switched gears and was simply paying Dex to watch out for his loving old dad, Sonny was inclined to trust Michael’s version of events.

But he could no longer trust him because the harm had already been done. Given how much Sonny depends on Michael, he might be more willing to forgive him if threats to his life and company persist.

GH Spoilers Leak Michael Jeopardizes Everything

Michael refuses to allow his father to fall between the gaps in this failing family unit. Michael is willing to sacrifice his independence and reputation in order to complete the task, even if it means joining him in securing his illicit drug trafficking enterprise.

Sonny won’t readily allow Dex to re-enter his circle, therefore it must be someone he still has some degree of faith in. Right present, only relatives may meet that need.

General Hospital Spoilers — Willow Walks Away?!

In relation to family, Katelyn MacMullen’s character Willow Corinthos will be conflicted over Michael’s choice. She won’t feel like she has a strong enough argument to persuade him not to follow this course, not only will he appear to make this decision for themselves and their family without truly consulting her.

Is it really reasonable for her to expect him to jeopardize his father’s safety by putting him in jail or having him killed? That will be difficult to ask given Michael’s belief that he can protect his dad in order to protect his wife and children.
