Last night, Bethany Platt had a very strange moment on Coronation Street. Does this mean she is aware of more information concerning Lauren Bolton’s disappearance than she is giving on?

Daniel’s girlfriend appeared to be acting suspiciously as he babbled to her about the latest development in the case. Additionally, a fleeting guilty expression might point to Bethany’s complicity.

On Wednesday, March 20, at Corrie, Daniel was placed on administrative leave following a claim that he was being investigated for Lauren’s alleged “murder.” He went straight up to Max since he was convinced that Max had leaked the information.

Daniel was instructed to leave by David after Max denied it. Subsequently, Daniel informed Bethany that Max was the person in question. Bethany shook her head and questioned, “Why would he do that, though?” in response to Daniel’s admission that he didn’t acknowledge it.

“Because he is vile. I have a thing for him. Daniel remarked, “I don’t know why, but he always has.”

Then Bethany mentioned that Daniel had once shoved Max down his apartment’s stairs. Daniel, meanwhile, argued that they had moved past it and that he had given Max a lot of support in the STC.

He was reassured by Bethany that everything would settle down because everyone was freaked out about the “Lauren thing.” As it was for Roy, who had been arrested, she claimed that things could be far worse.

“I don’t think Roy killed Lauren, do you?” Daniel questioned her.

When Bethany answered “No,” it seemed as though she was hesitating and nearly missed Daniel’s gaze.

Daniel added, “It’s just a nightmare for everybody,” as he turned to go. Then, for far too long, the camera lingered on Bethany’s face, making her appear culpable.

Bethany has been following Lauren’s absence closely and has accompanied Daniel in enquiring about her location. Also, during the entire story, she exudes confidence in Daniel’s innocence.
