Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) on Y&R is still in shock at Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) betrayal at the moment. When Daniel revealed that he is getting back together with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), she was completely devastated.

He is still in love with Heather, despite having slept with her. He told Lily he loved her unconditionally, which made things worse. She naturally feels that their entire relationship was a lie as a result of that.

Daniel sent Young and the Restless another bomb, as if things couldn’t get any worse. He revealed that her brother, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), was aware of it and thought it would be best to hold off on telling her until she got home. Devon now has to face the music.

His initial thought was to give her a call, but he didn’t want to bother her while she was tending to her daughter. He was attempting to act morally, and he most likely knew in his heart that this would backfire on him.

Fortunately, Lily’s resentment of Devon is short-lived. She informs him that Daniel is the reason she is upset, not because she is angry with him. She is immersing herself in her work because her entire world has fallen apart and she is at a loss for what to do. But eventually, a lot of drama could be staged in the workplace.

Lily recently hired Heather at CW, where Daniel, of course, already works on Y&R. Therefore, tension is about to build. Daniel and Heather believe that since they are all adults, they can work things out.

That might not be the case, though. Although Lily is far from being petty, she may come to the realization that she cannot function in the same space as the two of them. Thus, she might get to work devising a plan to remove them both from her family business.

Official Young and the Restless teasers also hint to major turmoil following Lily and Daniel’s breakup. Though he anticipates a smooth sailing journey with Heather, he is looking forward to this new chapter.
