It’s Official: Christel Khalil’s Young & Restless Return Date Is… — Plus, Time For Daniel To Pay The Piper!

We’ve been waiting a long time, but we’re here at last! Christel Khalil of The Young and the Restless is bringing Lily back! Not a second too soon, either. Perhaps a little too late, though. Later on, though, more on it!

Naturally, Khalil has been taking maternity leave in order to give birth to her second child. In June of last year, she revealed her pregnancy. But Lily wasn’t, so for a few months Genoa City was the scene of an entertaining game of Hide the Baby Bump! Then, in November of last year, Sarah and her fiancé Sam Restagno disclosed the gender of the child, sharing that they were “getting closer to meeting our baby boy.”

After that, in less than a month, Lily moved to California to be with her daughter Mattie and Khalil left for maternity leave. Fast forward to today, when Young & Restless revealed the preview for the upcoming week, revealing that Lily will finally return to the show the week of March 11! Yes, that’s right, she’s back! Although Lily may not be as thrilled about her return as Khalil or the rest of us are.

You see, things have changed a lot in Genoa City since she rushed off to California back in December. And chief among them is how close her beau Daniel has gotten with Heather! And by close, we mean he cheated on Lily and is in love with Heather again. So that’s not something Lily’s going to love returning to.
