Coronation Street, a popular British soap opera, has been canceled to make room for the Rugby World Cup. The popular ITV program’s viewers will now have to watch Argentina VS. New Zealand.
This Friday night’s episode of Coronation Street has been canceled once more due to changes in ITV’s schedule.
This evening’s Rugby World Cup will take the place of the long-running soap opera.
The program usually airs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but a change in the schedule was necessary to make room for the prestigious sporting event.
On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday this week, the soap opera instead broadcast three episodes.
The next episode of viewers’ favorite soap opera won’t air until Monday, so they’ll have to make do with tonight’s Argentina v. New Zealand match on ITV.

Fans are furious because they won’t be able to watch the show on Friday at the scheduled time.
Stop messing around with the scheduling, a user on X (Twitter) said. Elderly people who are housebound depend on routine. The rugby is a waste of time. (sic)
Another irate supporter exclaimed, “Oh no! By now, the bloody rugby must be over. One more useless Friday night TV. Not everyone of us has Netflix, etc. (sic)
“Why can’t sports be on another ITV channel?” asked a third. @itv, stop messing with our soap operas.

You could always broadcast rugby on ITV2. You have four channels, aren’t you? Why then meddle in Corrie’s business? A fourth fervent soap opera fan yelled.
On October 28, the Rugby World Cup is scheduled to come to an end, which might cause schedule adjustments for one more week.
Following Stephen Reid’s death from being run over by Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), viewers have been gripped to their seats.
After months of terrorizing the residents of Weatherfield, Stephen (Todd Boyce) finally received his just desserts.
When the serial killer tried to leave the country, Jenny Bradley (Sally Ann Matthews) realized he had his passport.
On Monday’s episode, Peter was detained and interrogated by police regarding his behavior on Tuesday.
It remains to be seen if the actor, who is leaving his role, ends up in jail or if he manages to escape in time.
