Fans of Emmerdale have witnessed Amelia Spencer’s difficulties adjusting to her father Dan’s prison sentence earlier this year.
Amelia Spencer, an Emmerdale youngster played by Daisy Campbell, is going to experience yet another setback as she tries to acclimate to life without her father.

Fans of the ITV soap opera witnessed Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) decide to confront Lloyd Sawyer (Matt Sutton), his daughter’s stalker, earlier this year.

Lloyd was taken to the hospital after Dan punched him to the ground during an argument.

Lloyd was charged with GBH at first, but things took a sharp turn when he passed away in the hospital from his wounds.

Viewers witnessed Dan’s eventual eight-year prison sentence, leaving his daughter Amelia to care for little Esther on her own.

It was evident that Amelia was struggling without her father around, despite her determination to prove to others that she was capable of parenting her daughter and living alone.

She admitted to having fear about living alone when she discussed the matter with her boyfriend Noah Dingle (Jack Downham).

She has been making an effort to acclimate to a new life while her father is incarcerated, but it appears that she will experience yet another setback.

Next week’s official spoilers indicate the teenager will celebrate her first birthday without Dan present.

She is furious when he sends her a birthday card from prison, though.

When Amelia realizes that Dan won’t be around to see her kid grow up, will she start to spiral even further?

It appears that the teenager is not the only one upset over Dan’s departure; actor Liam Fox opened up to Express.co.uk about his feelings after reading his final screenplay.

“I thought this was awful when I read the script,” he stated. He is sort of processing everything and realizing he is moving and that the villagers are behind him.

“He has some great stuff before he leaves; the Man Club is really helping him out when he goes to the pub.

It’s very lovely material, and it’s written pretty well. I cried a little bit when reading it.

It’s beautiful, heartfelt stuff. Having that kind of script around that story feels like a huge blessing to me.”
