Charity Dingle, a landlady in Emmerdale, has had bad luck finding love ever since her husband Mackenzie Boyd had an affair with Chloe Harris.
According to Emmerdale’s official teasers, after Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd (Emma Atkins and Lawrence Robb) have a sexual encounter, history is about to repeat itself.
In future ITV soap opera scenes, Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) and Mack are settling into their new relationship and have begun to make plans for the baptism of baby Reuben.
When Mackenzie asks Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) to be Reuben’s godmother, Moira is similarly overcome with emotion.
Chloe is delighted that Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) and Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) will also serve as godparents.
When the venue they had planned to use for Reuben’s christening on Thursday doesn’t work out, the couple is upset.
Chloe first rejects Charity’s sincere offer to host it at the Woolpack, but soon after, Mack circles around to make amends with his ex.
Mackenzie and Charity share a passionate kiss and spend the night together after becoming very emotional.
They both feel a little ashamed after the incident, and Mack quickly leaves, leaving Charity to reflect on the afternoon’s events.
He feels bad about how appreciative Chloe is of his work for the Christening when he gets home.
Unbeknownst to him, Charity can’t help but want for a meeting between the two; nevertheless, will she experience heartbreak once more?
The following morning, Mack is incredibly busy, leaving Chloe to uncomfortably defuse the situation.
Mackenzie shows up at Butlers Farm in the meantime seeking some sisterly guidance.
He is reminded by Moira that if Chloe learns about him and Charity, he runs the chance of losing Reuben.
Mack is aware that he must make a choice, but he is unsure of who he will pick—would it be Charity or Chloe?
As the Christening gets under way, Charity tells Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) that she slept with Mackenzie.
Could Chloe decide to leave the community and take their young son with her if she learns that Mack betrayed her?
