Just Months After They Left Coronation Street, Strictly Come Dancing Identifies A Star From That Show.

The BBC show’s line-up for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing is being unveiled day by day.

The most recent celebrity added to this year’s Strictly Come Dancing lineup is actress Ellie Leach from Coronation Street.

Ellie is the tenth famous person whose participation in the upcoming season of the BBC One show, which will be broadcast this autumn, has been confirmed.

She is most recognised for her 12-year stint as Faye Windass in Coronation Street.

She was nominated for British Soap Awards and Inside Soap Awards during her stay on the soap for her gritty tales.

She became pregnant at the age of 13, learned she was going through menopause, and reconnected with the kid she abandoned, among other things.

The announcement was made on Wednesday’s episode of BBC Breakfast, during which Ellie discussed competing on Strictly with host Jon Kay.

She admitted: “I feel like I’m getting a little anxious now that the time is getting close, but I’m so excited.”

She admitted, “I just told my family.” “When someone tells me, ‘Don’t say anything,’ I’m the sort to be like, ‘OK.’

“You can tell me a secret and I won’t tell anyone; I’m so trustworthy!”

When her family learned that Ellie was competing in the ballroom dancing competition, she stated they were “so excited.”

My dad doesn’t often express his feelings, but today he remarked, “The hairs on the back of my neck are standing up, I am so proud of you,” Ellie added.

The actress claimed that when her family recently questioned her about her recent trip to London, she played along by saying she was only spending the day in the capital city.

Before revealing that she was eager to find out who her professional partner on Strictly Come Dancing was, Ellie claimed that her grandparents, sister, and friends were overjoyed.

Ellie continued the interview on the fabled red sofa, “I could never have thought this would happen and I am very grateful.

Along with Adam Thomas, Angela Rippon, Zara McDermott, Angela Scanlon, Eddie Kadi, Nikita Kanda, Amanda Abbington, and Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Ellie will be competing.
