Veteran Lydia Dingle from Emmerdale (played by Karen Blick) is about to receive a visit from an enigmatic stranger, and it makes her nervous.

Sam Dingle (Sam Hooton) discovers an old doll’s house in a skip and brings it home to decorate for baby Esther’s birthday, according to ITV’s official leaks.

His wife is reminded of past experiences since Lydia is reminded of the one she had when living with the kids.

The Dingles opt to celebrate Sam’s birthday despite everything involving Dan Spencer (Liam Fox).

Lydia makes the decision to take on a second job since she is concerned about her family’s financial situation.

She says she would attend the Hide employment fair the next day in quest of a new career.

Sam is not thrilled about the situation, but Lydia goes to the fair; however, when she runs into her employer, things get unpleasant.

However, when Lydia runs into a mystery man from her past, things take a sudden turn.

Craig is overjoyed to have seen Lydia again after not seeing her since the children’s home, but is the feeling mutual?

The incident leaves the Dingle favourite shaken, but may Lydia be concealing something?

After being placed in a children’s home, Lydia didn’t have the ideal start in life.

She started seeing another boy while there, which led to her being pregnant.

However, disaster struck after Lydia had a stillborn child, and in a fit of wrath, she made the terrible decision to bury the child in the forest.

Lydia had been plagued by the secret for years before the truth came to light in 2019.

Karen stated to Metro regarding Lydia’s secret: “She has held this secret for such a long period. She doesn’t want to bring this up to the Dingles’ door since she knows the cops will eventually find her.

She firmly believes that she deserves to be disciplined. There is no longer any hiding from this because she has carried the guilt of this throughout her entire life.
