On Home and Away the following week, Felicity is devastated by what Rory did.

In other scenes, Cash makes a significant choice, Irene’s relapse results in a confrontation, and Xander overhears a private conversation between Dana and Harper.

1. Rory makes a confession

After learning that Dingo is having problems, Rory makes a choice. Rory gives Felicity a half-truth when she asks for explanations, saying that he assisted Dingo in getting rid of Officer McGrath’s body and that he now needs to set things right.

Telling Cash he wants to make a statement, Rory heads to the police station. Cash teases him until Rory tells him that it was actually him that killed McGrath, not Dingo.

According to Rory, Dingo became insane due to McGrath’s persistent surveillance of the River Boys’ operations, which lasted for several months.

McGrath was already unconscious when Rory got there. Dingo couldn’t have escaped alive since Rory knew that McGrath would have recognized him. After learning of this, Cash suspects Rory of killing.

2. Felicity is devastated

As an expressionless Rory is brought away in handcuffs, Felicity argues Rory’s innocence and Eden tries to dissuade her from leaving to the station.

Rory passes Felicity by like a ghost, despite her pleas for him to fight. Cash responds to Felicity’s pleas for him to stop by telling her that Rory’s fingerprints were found on the murder weapon.

Eden urges Cash to help his sister because she sees Felicity as depressed. Cash worries about this. When Felicity convinces Cash that she must see the man she loves, he gives in and takes her to see a chilly Rory.

Rory tells Felicity that what Cash told her is true, apologizes, and begs her to move on from him.

3. Xander overhears a revealing conversation

Harper continues to struggle with her pregnancy and worries about Tane’s reaction as well as the failure of her own parents.

Harper is reassured by Dana that they will overcome this together. Harper then makes the decision to retain the child, but Xander believes Dana is pregnant since he overheard them conversing.

Rose tells Xander to accept Dana’s decisions even though he is shocked by her seclusion. Although Xander only wants to help Dana, he is adamant that he does.

Dana laughs it off, realizing what’s occurred, and tells Xander she’s not pregnant when he tells her that she can tell him anything.

When Dana finally admits that Harper is the one who is expecting, Xander is relieved and presses her for the true reason.

4. Irene is in denial

It appears like only Leah is beginning to notice that Irene’s drinking is becoming worse.

Under the guise of seeking counsel, Leah urges Justin to see Irene; however, Irene is shrewd and erupts with rage, accusing Justin and Leah of having no faith in her.

Before ejecting the two, Irene asserts that Leah is the one with the issue and that they have no idea what she has endured as a result of Bronte’s deceit.

John questions Irene later over the AA meeting she was meant to attend. Irene, in denial, argues that she doesn’t have a problem because she drinks in public rather than behind closed doors.

To demonstrate her finery, Irene extends an invitation to a dinner party to all of her acquaintances. What might go wrong, if anything?

5. Mali is troubled over recent events

Mali does not show up for his surfing class, so Kirby goes looking for her. When Mali does show there, Kirby is enraged that she has to fill in for her reticent boss because he is elusive.

Concerned Kirby inquires as to whether the River Boys are bothering him once more, but Mali ignores her and invites her to enroll in his upcoming session.

Afterwards, Mali confides in Tane about everything that led to his being investigated for murder, including his guilt for taking part in the battle against the Allens.

Tane reassures his pal that it’s okay to move on and consoles him. Mali, though, is disturbed; how can he move on when he can hardly recognize himself?

6. Irene ends her friendship with John

When Leah, Justin, Marilyn, and John get to Irene’s, the hostess gives them wine right away. Irene catches John red-handed snooping around the kitchen.

John says, “This isn’t honest,” and Irene pushes him over the brink with a toast about speaking the truth and being honest. John continues, saying that he will not stand by while Irene lies to everyone, even to herself.

John leaves abruptly, startling and unsettling everyone. Leah and Justin also depart, and Irene, who has now had multiple glasses of wine, remarks sarcastically about Harper turning down a drink that is given.

Further conversations between John, Leah, and Justin on Irene seem destined to devolve into a squabble until Justin uses his own experience with painkiller addiction to argue that you can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be treated.

John approaches Irene while she is discarding several empty whiskey bottles since he is a persistent person. Irene, however, loses it and tells John that their friendship is ended before evicting him from her house.

7. Tane worries about troubled Perri

Tane questions Perri when he gets home late, but Perri isn’t in the mood for a talk.

When Tane finds out that a carefree Perri attempted to order a beer right before he was supposed to start work, Tane becomes irate.

As Tane is going to give Perri a hard time, Mackenzie informs him that Perri is turning eighteen. Realizing that Perri is having trouble adjusting and that she was only looking to rejoice, Tane is embarrassed and apologizes to her.

Perri accepts an awkward thank-you from Mac and Levi after receiving an expensive birthday present as a surprise.

Even if he expresses his gratitude to Mac, he still doesn’t know them well.

8. Perri rejects a birthday gesture

Tane and Perri dig up the hangi pit with the assistance of his whānau, but Tane is more looking forward to the celebration than the birthday boy.

ambivalent Tane tells Perri that he deserves all of this and begs him to enjoy it, even though Perri doesn’t think he does.

Tane and the whānau are singing and playing guitar to a traditional song when they see Perri is uncomfortable and about to cry.

Tane offers to get Perri a passport to travel to their native country of New Zealand, but Perri snarls that Tane is not his “cultural project” and shoves the manaia necklace in his face.

Later, Perri apologizes to a dejected Tane.

9. Cash proposes to Eden

Cash is worried about Felicity, so Eden comforts him and gets their pals to cheer him up.

When Cash asks Remi how things are going with Bree, a beaming Remi says it’s great to have an incredible woman at his side, someone he genuinely believes to be ‘The One’.

After hearing what he has to say and observing Eden, the one who has stood by him no matter what, Cash gets an idea.

When Cash and Eden are alone, she tells Cash how much they appreciate everything, to which a joyful Eden responds that she loves him and asks if there is anything more she can do to make him happy.

Cash looks directly at Eden and replies, “Yes, you can marry me.” Eden is taken aback by his impromptu offer.
